On May 15th, 2018, After a six-year hiatus, the California Asian Pacific Islander Legislative Caucus has partnered with several statewide partners hosted the 10th California Asian & Pacific Islander (API) Policy Summit, "Transforming Momentum Into Movements". This event is convened in partnership with AAPI Data, A3PCON, Asian Americans Advancing Justice-CA, California Commission on Asian & Pacific Islander American Affairs, Empowering Pacific Islander Communities and Southeast Asia Resource Action Center.

With over 5.8 million Asian and Pacific Islander Americans living in California, the API community must exercise its political strength and community voice. The API Policy Summit serves as a vehicle for the API community to refine its advocacy efforts in order to develop more sophisticated strategies to advance our community’s agenda on every level of government.
