The Wylie Center is a 501c3 established in 1976 and resulting from the merging of the Youth Services Center and the Children's Center, two Riverside-based nonprofit organizations. The mission of the Wylie Center is to improve quality of life and strengthen family relationships by providing programs in community and clinical settings for children and families. The MOMS Perinatal Program is a 16-week day treatment program for women who manage substance abuse during pregnancy. Transportation is an integral part of treatment services for women and their children. A training program is provided as part of treatment, allowing women to learn hands-on parenting skills. We cover a variety of topics specific to pregnant women and parenting mothers. Guest speakers are also used to provide information and recommend other women-oriented community projects. Fees are based on a sliding scale and Medi-Cal is accepted.
